Important Disclosures
Not a lender
SmallBiz Ally is not a lender, a broker of consumer loans, or a financial advisor. We do not originate loans, provide capital, or make credit decisions. We connect small business owners with third-party lending partners ("Funding Partners") who evaluate applications independently.
Lead generation role
We operate as a lead-matching service. Information you submit is shared with one or more Funding Partners whose funding products may be appropriate for your business profile. Funding Partners then contact you directly with any offers.
No guarantee of approval or funding
Completing our application does not guarantee that you will receive an offer, be approved for funding, or receive any specific amount, rate, or term. All credit decisions are made by the Funding Partner based on its own underwriting criteria.
Third-party services
Any product, service, or agreement offered by a Funding Partner is provided by that Funding Partner, not by SmallBiz Ally. SmallBiz Ally does not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the terms, conduct, or performance of any Funding Partner.
Rates and terms
Rates, fees, repayment schedules, and other terms are set by the Funding Partner and vary based on the applicant's creditworthiness, business profile, and product type. SmallBiz Ally does not set or negotiate rates. Any figures mentioned in marketing materials are illustrative and not an offer of credit.
Compensation
SmallBiz Ally may receive compensation from Funding Partners when a referral results in a funded transaction. This compensation may influence which Funding Partners we work with and the order in which they may be introduced to you. You are under no obligation to accept any offer.
Credit score impact
Completing our application form does not result in a hard credit inquiry by SmallBiz Ally and will not affect your credit score. If you continue with a Funding Partner and provide them with additional authorization, that Funding Partner may perform a hard credit inquiry, which can affect your credit score.
California Disclosures
California Financing Law
SmallBiz Ally does not make loans and is not required to hold a California Financing Law license. Funding Partners that make loans to California businesses are responsible for their own licensing and compliance with the California Financing Law and applicable commercial financing disclosure requirements (SB 1235 / DFPI regulations).
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have specific privacy rights described in our Privacy Policy, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation
Concerns about a California-licensed Funding Partner may be directed to the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) at dfpi.ca.gov.
Service Details
Processing time
Applications are typically reviewed by Funding Partners within 24 hours of submission, though timing depends on the specific Funding Partner and the completeness of the information provided.
